When the luxury shoe house launched their first Nudes collection of stiletto heels last year, the interwebs went into overdrive - finally, nude shoes that actually looked nude on more than one skin tone! Women sick and tired of fashion's ubiquitous - yet surprisingly uncontested - one-colour-fits-all policy rushed to find their perfect match from the seven tones on offer, ranging from palest porcelain to dark cocoa.
Now, Christian Louboutin has extended the sell-out line to include pointed-toe ballet flats and two new colours - No. 7 Toudou and No. 2 Matilda. The first flats in the Nudes collection, which so far include two pump styles and a T-bar peep-toe heel, the ballet flats are crafted from soft, matte-finish nappa leather and finished off with a tiny bow. But if you want in, you better hurry - some shades are selling out fast.
Now, if only we could get the lingerie industry to follow suit with nude bras that actually worked for all skin tones... Someone get Elle MacPherson on the phone.
