If love is a battlefield then Tinder is one hell of a weapon. Following the release of Tinder Plus last year, the dating app has today launched a game changing new update; Tinder Gold. The update has similar features to its precursor including 'Passport', which allows you to swipe through the pool of potential matches in another city or country before you arrive, and 'Rewind' which saves the panic when you accidently swipe right on Mr. Wrong. You also get 'Unlimited Likes', a whopping five 'Super Likes' a day, and Tinder Plus's revolutionary 'Boost' feature where your profile is boosted to the top of potential matches' feeds for a period of time.

All of that is old news though; Tinder Gold's 'Likes You' feature is where it gets interesting, and it is exactly what it sounds like. 'Likes You' takes the guess work out of swiping; you can now see who has liked you before making your decision to swipe left or right. Look, this finding love thing is hard work; any steps towards efficiency must be ensued at all costs. No more waiting to see if prince charming has swiped you back; ain't nobody got time for that.

All of this will of course come at a cost (apparently you can put a price on love). While the subscription rate is not disclosed, it would be safe to assume that the rate will be similar to Tinder Plus's current cost which is $14.99/month.

Not sold? In the first month of testing, Tinder Gold users received 60% more matches after upgrading - that's a pretty high swipe rate.
