All the details for the whiz bang new tech gadgets we can't get through life without (how did we survive with a land line and dial up internet?) like three shiny new iPhone options, the next series of Apple's super slick watch and Apple's updated TV offering were revealed yesterday at Apple's Cupertino campus in California to palpable excitement.

Their new product offerings have so many advanced features like facial recognition and wireless charging there's no need to go Back to the Future, the future is here.

First up, the Apple iPhone X. This is the 'luxury' or private jet of Apple's new iPhone options and has a price tag to match starting at an eye-watering AUD$1579 for the 64GB model (the 256GB model will set you back AUD$1829). Available for Australian orders from 27 October this elevated iPhone is, according to Apple's senior VP of Worldwide Marketing Philip Schiller, "...the future of the smartphone."

Apple iPhone X

Feature-wise the iPhone X includes: revolutionary all-glass design made out of the most durable glass for a smartphone ever; 5.8 inch Super Retina OLED screen making your phone an incredible high-def TV; passcode and fingerprint unlock authentication replaced with Face ID which is powered by A11 Bionic technology for accurate face mapping and a 7-megapixel TrueDepth camera; reinvented front and rear cameras with portrait lighting (translation: best selfies ever); AR enabled; highest quality video capture on a smartphone; Animoji feature which brings emojis to life; wireless charging; no home button.

But if the price tag for the luxe iPhone X is out of the budgetary ballpark the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are well worth trading up to.

The series 8 will be available to order in Australia from this Friday September 15 with an RRP for the 64GB iPhone 8 of AUD$1079 and includes the following futuristic features: updated glass and aluminium design; 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch Retina HD displays with colour adjusting technology; speakers up to 25 per cent louder; A11 Bionic chip for faster processing and better performance; AR enabled; improved camera with portrait lighting; wireless charging.

The last two product updates, the Apple Watch Series 3 and Apple TV 4K are also stacked with game-changing features. The third gen Apple Watch's main new feature is built-in cellular, meaning you can phone a friend, Snapchat and endlessly Google without requiring your phone to be nearby.

Apple's TV 4K is powered by the A10X Fusion chip offering extreme vivid viewing so you'll feel like new GOT couple Jon Stark and Daenerys Targaryen are fighting night walkers in your living room.
