From a water resistant iPhone to a brand new generation of Apple Watch, Apple's latest releases have everyone talking.

Well, the rumours are true. Overnight, Apple  officially revealed the brand new iPhone 7, the tech giant's biggest mic drop in a while.  In addition to that, it also announced a new Apple Watch and AirPods, the brand's first wireless headphone product. Curious? Here's everything you need to know:

iPhone 7

iPhone 7 and 7 Plus
We've already reported on the fact that the new iPhone 7's new features have had the internet freaking out. And yes, it is devoid of a headphone jack. But in addition to that, the new device, in its sleek af design, is also housing the best camera system yet , a 12-mega pixel wide angle camera and, if you opt for the 7 Plus, a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with a huge optical zoom.  It also has longest battery life we've seen in an iPhone yet, a solid state home button (which makes for more durability) and, just in time for festival season  is dust and water resistant. A big win.

Go wireless with AirPods
Ok so, sure, the iPhone 7 and 7 plus are missing a headphone jack,  but the silver lining is Apple's new AirPods, wireless headphones .  Packed with the "Apple W1 chip", AirPods can actually detect when they're in your ear -  so you don't waste any of your 5-hour listening time (the charging case itself can charge them up to five times).  While this may be a bit inconvenient for long haul flights, it's a dream for runners and Apple Watch users.

Apple Watch Series 2

Apple Watch Series 2
Movers, shakers and water babies will fall hard for the Apple Watch Series 2 - with a focus on fitness and health, the new series of watches come with a 50m water resistance (FINALLY!) and new algorithms of research for workout options in the pool and open water. This means, it can count laps, track pace and detect stroke type to measure your calorie output. Smart, huh?

Another bonus is the new watch has GPS and will locally store satellite data, so when you're hitting the pavement, you can track precise distance, pace and calorie burn, without the need to have to take your phone with you.   Oh, and it's also now avaiable in a chic, hardworking ceramic finish.

Apple iPhone 7

The iPhone 7,  7 plus and Apple Watch Series 2 will be available from Friday September 16, 2016 and AirPods will be available in late October 2016.
