In case you needed reminding, it's 2017 and being a tech geek is no longer equated with a specific kind of social doom. I mean, just look at who's running the world (aside from Beyoncé) thanks to their billionaire dollar tech businesses - the likes of Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Page, Sergey Brin and Bill Gates. But if there's one thing they all have in common, it's not the fact they're both white American and filthy rich... it's also the fact they're all male.

And not to get all third, fourth or whatever wave feminist on you, the fact of the matter is this: we women are just as maths-capable, digitally savvy and entrepreneurial as the next dude in sneakers. We just have to wake up to it. Keeping this in mind, our very own Vogue Australia has launched a global first initiative, which aims to address this very shortfall. Women working in digital shouldn't be a rarity, folks.
