Let's face it, no one likes lugging a heavy laptop around. Thankfully Apple took this into consideration when designing the new generation MacBook. The new line of MacBooks are the thinnest and lightest ever, and every component has been redesigned to create a laptop that weighs just 920g with a 13.1mm width (24 per cent thinner than the 11-inch MacBook Air).
The new MacBooks also feature a 12-inch Retina display, a full-size keyboard (also thinner) and a new designed to deliver all-day battery life. And for the first time, the MacBooks will be presented in three different colour palettes - aluminium gold, aluminium silver and aluminium space grey.
The iOS has also been updated and will be included in an OS X Yosemite update this spring. The all-new MacBook will be available for purchase online at the Apple store, in Apple's retail stores and selected Apple's authorised resellers from April 10. Prices start from $1,799.
