Tennis champion Serena Williams married Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian in a celebrity-filled fairy-tale wedding last Thursday and the wedding album is unbelievable

With 23 Grand Slam singles titles to her name, Serena Williams is one of the greatest female tennis players of all time and so it follows that anything she does, including getting married, will be a spectacular, grand slam event.

And her recent nuptials to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian didn't disappoint. The wedding took place in good time town New Orleans last Thursday November 16, in front of a celebrity-filled 200-strong guest list and the bride really brought her fashion A-game, wearing two custom couture gowns.

Refinery29 reports the dreamy strapless gown Willams wore for the ceremony was designed by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen - the same designer who created Princess Kate's stunning dress for her nuptials to the future King of England. But of course even if you're one of the most agile athletes in the world, too much tulle can lead to a dance floor disaster - so Williams sensibly changed into a short, feathered cocktail frock from Versace for the reception.

The article further reports the bridesmaids wore "custom metallic gowns by Galia Lahav." And the guest list included Queen Bey, Kelly Rowland, Kim Kardashian West, Anna Wintour and Eva Longoria.

A social media ban was in force with only official photos published on Williams, Ohanian and their wedding photographer's Insta accounts providing a sneak peek inside the fairy-tale wedding.
