Slated to open in 2018, the park is set to include six "worlds" including fan favourites Cartoon Junction, The Flintstone's home-town of Bedrock, Dynamite Gulch, plus a Warner Bros. Plaza which will be themed around vintage Hollywood. Located on man-made Yas Island, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi theme park is almost 60 per cent complete and will feature 29 rides, family-friendly attractions and live entertainment within the six worlds.

In terms of how real it will look and feel - Warner Bros. and developer Miral have gone big - Superman's Metropolis will feature a city of skyscrapers while Gotham City will be all dark, spooky alleys - exactly how you imagine Batman's noir town would look IRL. Cartoon Junction will feature a stable of classic Looney Tunes characters like Bugs Bunny under a stylized cartoony blue sky, and Bedrock will be stacked with prehistoric birds and dinosaurs exactly as you see it in The Flintstones.

Pam Lifford, President of Warner Bros. Consumer Products said in a statement that the park "...will be a state-of-the-art themed experience that authentically brings some of the studio's most iconic characters and stories to life under one roof for the first time in the Middle East."
