You know the ancient proverb that says "the enemy of my enemy is my friend"? Well, that has just come to life overnight, with the announcement that famous Taylor Swift-haters, Katy Perry and Calvin Harris have collaborated on a track (or possibly even more than one).

Overnight, Swift's bitter ex, Harris, who famously dated Swift for a year before controversy arose surrounding her songwriter credit on Harris' track "This is What You Came For", dropped a short video on his socials announcing his new album, Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1.

The video revealed a swag of collaborators, including Pharrell Williams, Frank Ocean, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott, Future, Big Sean, John Legend, Khalid, Migos, Schoolboy Q, Young Thug, Migos and  Snoop Dogg. Now that's impressive enough, but there was one extra name that has completely overshadowed the rest: Queen of Taylor Swift shade, Katy Perry. Because, of course.

The timing is interesting, as it was only a few days ago when Perry, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, had this to say about whether or not she would include a diss track responding to Swift's "Bad Blood" (allegedly written about her) on her next album: "There is no one thing that's calling out any one person," she said. "One thing to note is: You can't mistake kindness for weakness and don't come for me. Anyone. Anyone. Anyone. Anyone. And that's not to any one person and don't quote me that it is, because it's not. It's not about that."
She continued, "Honestly, when women come together and they decide to unite, this world is going to be a better place. Period. End of story. But, let me say this: Everything has a reaction or a consequence so don't forget about that, okay, honey. [Laughs] We got to keep it real, honey."

It may be vague, but there's definitely something afoot. We're keeping some popcorn on hand, just in case.
