Everyone's favourite animated music collective, Gorillaz, are setting up pop-up haunted houses in real life across Brooklyn, Berlin and Amsterdam over April and May. The houses will be free to enter (with RSVP) and are modelled against the animated short titled Saturnz Barz (Spirit House) which features clips of four tracks from the upcoming new album.

In the film, the band visits an old house - haunted, as you might've guessed - and are now inviting fans to experience "exclusive music and visuals through physical installations and project-mapping technology" in the real-life recreations.

"Come and bathe in high-tech sound, feast on unearthly visuals and let the experience take you on the ultimate trip," said Gorillaz bassist Murdoc Niccals in a statement. Prepare to get your freak on.
