Did Selena Gomez just tease a Bieber-inspired new track?
#TheBuroDaily
It's incredible what pop fans are capable of. Just four lines of Selena Gomez's new song had super-sleuthing fans in a frenzy.
I had a dream
We were back at seventeen
Summer nights and liberties
Never growing up
Did you spot it? The lyrics, pertaining to a song entitled It Ain't Me, reference a relationship the singer had when she was 17 - and Selena and Justin met when she was 17. Coincidence? Her fans don't think so.
Despite reports that she is dating Bella Hadid's ex, The Weeknd, it seems there will always be a determined group of Beiber/Gomez devotees, championing the former relationship.
While Gomez is credited with co-writing the track, other writers include Brian Lee, Ali Tamposi and Andrew Watt - the writers behind Beiber's track with DJ Snake, Let Me Love You. Curiouser and curiouser...
We'll just have to wait for the release of the full track on to find out more. Keep your ears open.
