When two people break up, you might expect the pair to delete each other from social media, a hostile side-comment here or there and a lengthy Facebook status detailing an inspiring 'new me' attitude. This can't be said of Cara Delevingne and ex-girlfriend Annie Clark (better known under her stage name St. Vincent). Speaking to The New Yorker, Clark revealed that her ex-girlfriend, Delevingne will make an appearance singing on her upcoming album. St. Vincent dated Delevingne for eighteen months, before the pair called it off last year.

Singing under the pseudonym 'Kid Monkey', Delevingne appears on a track entitled 'Pills' which allegedly addresses St. Vincent's abuse of prescription medication to cope with anxiety and depression. The lyrics state: "Pills to grow, pills to shrink, pills, pills, pills and a good stiff drink / Pills to fuck, pills to eat, pills, pills, pills down the kitchen sink."

"It's all about sex, drugs and sadness," St. Vincent explained of the as-yet untitled album. It is not clear whether 'Pills' was written and reordered while the two were together, or if the collaboration occurred post break-up.

As to whether or not any other songs on the album will be about the two's relationship, St. Vincent told The Guardian earlier this week: "I've always kept my writing close to the vest. And by that I mean I'm always gonna write about my life... and that - dating Cara - was a big part of my life. I wouldn't take it off-limits, just because my songs might get extra scrutiny."

The album is yet to be given a release date, however the singer has earlier this year shared a new song titled 'New York' and also performed another song called 'LA' at a recent show (we're sensing a bit of a theme here).
