In honour of what would have Heath Ledger's 38th Birthday, Spike has released the first trailer for the upcoming documentary; I am Heath Ledger.

The preview shows never-before-seen footage of Ledger leading up to his shocking death in 2008 - aged just 28. Former directors, co-stars, close friends and family are seen in the trailer where they're describing their greatest memories and experiences of the Brokeback Mountain star. "Heath was the most alive human, and if it wasn't on the edge - it didn't interest him," said musician and close friend, Ben Harper.

The series of clips also show Heath filming skits and recording things with different cameras. Former girlfriend and model Christina Cauchi recalled her fondest memories of him were mostly "with a camera in the hand".
