If the first trailer for the Denis Villeneuve-directed Blade Runner 2049 was about the toughness of being a cop/blade runner in LA in 2049 then the second trailer shows us that actually any occupation or just living in general is a pretty rough gig in this high-tech dystopian future. LAPD cop Officer K (Ryan Gosling) is on the hunt for Harrison Ford's character, Rick Deckard the hero of the original 1982 Blade Runner flick - Gosling believes former cop Ford can help him out with a major planet-saving case. Meanwhile a freaky-eyed, villainous Jared Leto (playing Neander Wallace) is busy plotting a new "leap of civilisation" based on slaves or "replicants" he is manufacturing in a creepy sci-fi facility.

Where the first trailer focused on introducing Gosling this second trailer expands the narrative to include the integral part Harrison Ford's character plays in this gritty, action-packed dystopian sequel.
