ICYMI, director Danny Boyle's seminal 1996 flick Trainspotting is scoring a sequel, coming to cinemas early 2017. Set 20 year after the heroin-laced original, the film is set to star all the original cast members, such as Ewan McGregor, Robert Carlyle, Jonny Lee Miller and Ewen Bremner. While there's been much hype about filming and possible plot points (the sequel is based on the Irvine Welsh follow up novel Porno), we've seen very little footage of the actual new flick... until this.

Ok, so this 47 second teaser clip really lives up to its name, but the line up of the film's key characters Spud, Renton, Sick Boy and Begbie is striking, especially when viewed in contrast to the first teaser below, which takes a clip from the original Trainspotting. There's nothing like the passing of twenty years to remind you of how much things change (and people age).

Yep, this is what happens when you reach middle age, kids. T2 Trainspotting 2 hits Australian cinemas February 9, 2017.
