Everyone's secret nerd crush and modest documentarian, Louis Theroux has announced a one-part BBC documentary looking at the relationship between patients and their eating disorders. Louis Theroux: Talking to Anorexia will see Theroux situate himself in two of London's largest eating disorder treatment facilities: St Ann's Hospital and Vincent Square Clinic.

Theroux will meet women at varying stages of the disease and accompany them through a prescribed daily routine of scheduled eating, weight measurements and group therapy sessions, witnessing the impact and power that anorexia has over them.

According to WebMD, anorexia, and the detrimental fear of eating and gaining weight has become one of the most deadly mental illnesses, resulting in 5.1 deaths per 1000 people affected. The illness has risen dramatically in recent years, with one in every 250 women affected by the disease at some stage of their life.
