Starring everyone's favourite cherub-faced pop princess, Selena Gomez and three similarly bikini-clad friends alongside everyone's favourite oddball James Franco, the original Spring Breakers that came out in 2013 was a blur of booze, parties, promiscuous behaviour and accidental homicides - much like actual Spring Break, minus the homicides of course. Directed by Kids (1991) Harmony Korine, the film was gritty, boundary-pushing and no-holds-barred.

The series remake of the film will launch on a new digital platform Blackpills which is slated to launch later this year and while the original producers will be involved in the project, original director Korine will not.
