In news that will make you completely reassess your entire life and career choices: Millie Bobby Brown, perpetual cool girl, style icon and superpower heroine of Stranger Things will star in AND produce an upcoming film series based on Nancy Springer's Enola Holmes Mysteries novels. According to Deadline, Brown will play the role of Enola Holmes in the series; you may not have heard of her, but perhaps you know her older brother, Sherlock? The character is fourteen years old, which just so happens to be the age that Brown will turn next month - yep, I'll let that sink in.

In the series, Enola possesses the same thrill for mysteries as her famed older brother, much to Sherlock's disgrace (young Victorian-era girls should stay at home with their mothers). Enola continues to decipher puzzles and crack codes, eventually earning her place solving crimes as a private investigator alongside Sherlock.

Brown's new project comes at a time as Hollywood is in need of more strong female leads in front of the camera (as well as behind). Earlier this week Brown walked the red carpet at the 75th annual Golden Globe Awards wearing a backless black Calvin Klein mini dress in solidarity of the #TimesUp movement that campaigns against sexual assault, harassment and inequality in the workplace.
