Marvel Studios is having a very good start to the year, they've got epic Avengers: Infinity War coming to a screen near you in April, their newest superhero story Black Panther premiered on Monday night in the US to universally rave reviews with Variety reporting Angie J. Han of Mashable tweeted she, "...never wanted this movie to end." And now they've dropped the hotly anticipated trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp, the sequel to 2015's surprise superhero hit Ant-Man.

Paul Rudd returns as Ant-Man/Scott Lang, the cat burglar-turned-superhero, under the mentorship of Dr Hank Pym (played by screen legend Michael Douglas). The new instalment introduces Evangeline Lilly as Ant-Man's pint-sized world-saving partner, The Wasp, because everything is better with a buddy. As Lang's daughter Cassie (played by Abby Ryder Fortson) says, "Maybe you just need someone watching your back, like a partner."

In keeping with the first Ant-Man's lighter comedic tone, the trailer teases funny moments as well as the full throttle action Marvel superhero movies are known and loved for. There's also a slew of new A-list faces in the film including Laurence Fishburne and Michelle Pfeiffer.

We're expecting big things from this pint-sized powerhouse of a movie. Watch the Ant-Man and the Wasp trailer here:
