Riding off the back of her hugely successful roles in Suicide Squad and The Legend of Tarzen, Margot Robbie has scored another blockbuster flick; this time playing the lead of Maid Marian in a new Sony film.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marian is a spin-off from the Robin Hood tale, but will focus on life after the death of her love (Robin Hood) and deciding on the fate of the kingdom. The new flick will be produced by Donald De Line, Amy Pascal and LuckyChap Entertainment (which is Margot's very own production company).
But Marian isn't the only new film we can except to see the 26-year-old in. Robbie just wrapped up filming I, Tonya; a biopic on figure skater Tonya Harding. And she will also soon feature in Suicide Squad's stand-alone, Gotham City Sirens.
With all these blockbusters coming out, is it too soon to say we think an Oscar nod could be in the works?
