If you were alive during the '90s heyday of Australian cinema when films like The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and Muriel's Wedding placed local films on the map, then you're in luck, Swinging Safari is aimed squarely at you. And if you're too young to remember the '90s? Think of this as your chance to see Kylie Minogue back in action on the big screen. Brought to you by the same director of Priscilla (Stephan Elliott), Swinging Safari takes a comical look at a set of families in suburban Australian during the '70s.

Backed by an impressive cast of internationally and locally acclaimed Australian talent (think: Guy Pearce, Kylie Minogue, Asher Keddie, Julian McMahon, Radha Mitchell and Jeremy Sims), Swinging Safari is the bawdy local comedy that's been missing from our screens for so long. Framed around a local incident of a 200-ton whale washing up on the beach one summer, Swinging Safari also centres on a group of couples discovering the pleasures (and awkwardness) of swinging during the '70s. Filled with daggy haircuts (Kylie's is worth the ticket price alone), swooping magpies, cheese-and-cabanossi sticks and cheap wine, we encourage you to watch the Swinging Safari trailer below and relive your childhood.

Swinging Safari hits Aussie cinemas on January 18, 2018.
