England's fave music and arts festival finished up over the weekend - here's what you missed

Five days of camping, partying and some intense celeb-spotting - is it any wonder revellers at this year's five-day Glastonbury extravaganza were snapped passed out snoozing on the grass by the end of the festival? As per usual, the Northern Hemisphere event attracted a world-class line up of music acts spanning almost every genre. Highlights include performances from rock veterans Foo Fighters, Liam Gallagher and Radiohead, plus contemporary chart-toppers Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, Major Lazer, Halsey, Alt-J, The xx and Lorde. And just to keep things interesting - this year's headliners also played alongside some cleverly placed blasts from the past such as Chic, The Pretenders and Craig David.

On the celebrity front, the usual smattering of Brit It-girls and models made an appearance as Alexa Chung, Poppy and Cara Delevingne, Sienna Miller and Suki Waterhouse were spotted in the crowds with Aussies Jess Hart and Margot Robbie in tow. But most exciting? The handful of Game of Thrones fan favourites: Kit Harington and gf Rose Leslie, Alfie Allen and Richard Madden (pity only two of their four GoT characters are still left alive). Oh, and don't forget the surprise appearance of Brad Pitt and Tilda Swinton, Bradley Cooper shooting scenes for his upcoming film A Star Is Born, and sightings of Johnny Depp and David and Brooklyn Beckham.
