The Buro Fashion Forward Initiative took place in Paris this week celebrating fashion's up-and-comers

Paris in September is a creative affair; there is an innate energy that cannot be imitated in any other city at any other time as fashion editors, bloggers and buyers from all over the world shuffle between decadent showrooms and lavish runway shows celebrating fashions newest nuances. It is this energy that culminates the 2017 Buro Fashion Forward Initiative in partnership with Farfetch.

Hosted inside the Hôtel du Crillon, the BFFI brought together fashion's international heavyweights. Buro 24/7 Founder Miroslava Duma and Farfetch Founder José Neves were joined by stylist Christine Centenera, fashion designers Gabriela Hearst and Sandra Mansour, Edwina McCann of Vogue Australia, Stefano Tonchi of W, Jewellery Designer Sabine Getty, PR guro Carla Otto and models Jasmine Saunders and Arizona Muse.

The Buro Fashion Forward Initiative is a large-scale programme aimed at finding and supporting up and coming fashion designers. This year's initiative will see fashion designers from all over the world work with Candice Fragis, Buying & Merchandising Director at Farfetch to create bespoke capsule collections which will be sold exclusively on Farfetch. It is the second year in a row that Buro 24/7 has partnered with Farfetch and the first time the initiative has gone global.

"In 2017 BFFI finally becomes a truly global project. We'll be presenting and supporting designers from countries around the world. This year, our theme is football as we are paying tribute to the upcoming football world championship in Russia in 2018. The designers will showcase their own approach to a perfect sports kit. Just like fashion, football gives people from all over the world an opportunity to be united, find a real joy and follow their dreams," said Miroslava Duma.

To emulate the theme event decorator, Roman Kovalishin created lavish table settings with rare green and black carnations. Step inside the soiree in the gallery above.
