With the UK's Glastonbury festival wrapped up for wrapped up for 2016, we take a look at what It-girls like Cara D, Suki Waterhouse and Alexa Chung wore during the three-day event
Mud, mayhem, music and models. That was the general vibe at the English festival Glastonbury, known affectionately as #Glasto. Amid the backdrop of the game-changing Brexit vote, English partygoers flocked to the countryside to see some of the world's best musicians play. Thanks to notoriously unpredictable English weather, Hunter wellies are part of the unofficial Glasto uniform, alongside denim cutoffs, anoraks and leather jackets (a look popularised by Kate Moss way back in 2005). This year, as acts like New Order, Adele, Coldplay, Muse, Foals, Tame Impala, Ellie Goulding, LCD Soundsystem, Underworld, James Blake and Disclosure took to the stage - celebrity revellers of the new generation partied in the mud.
With Mossy noticeably absent, it was up to Poppy and Cara Delevingne, Alexa Chung, Suki Waterhouse, Daisy Lowe, Lily Donaldson, Pixie Geldof and Kate's little sis Lottie Moss to bring the fashion to the fields. And unlike their Coachella LA counterparts, the English It-girl pack highlighted why Brits are known as the undisputed queens of dishevelled cool.
