Spontaneous travellers, take note: there's a pop-up hotel roaming Australia

If you're the type to book overseas flights at a moment's notice or whisk someone away for an impromptu weekend retreat, this is for you

Two shipping containers, one rooftop spa and a cocktail bar: this isn't your average makeshift accommodation. And yet, the Spontaneity Suite - a joint project between new hotel booking app HotelTonight and Ovolo Hotels - is just that: a hotel room with all the trimmings currently set up in the Yarra Valley but due to travel across the country.

Hotel guests get to indulge in interiors designed by Coco Republic, complete with stone freestanding bath and Apple TV, while upstairs boasts a rooftop spa soaking up views across the Yarra. Rooms are currently going for a crazy cheap $99 for one night, but only until August 31 -   after that, you can try your luck on September 1, when the suite will be on offer for a slightly pricier $32,000 (including limousine transfers, personal concierge, wine tasting tour, meals and minibar snacks), with the price dropping by $1000 every ten minutes until sold.

The suite is only available via HotelTonight and all proceeds are being donated to Ozharvest. Keep an eye out for where it ends up next.
