1. Kanye releases a new album and manages to re-offend Taylor Swift
Over the weekend, Kanye West's long-awaited seventh album The Life of Pablo was released on Tidal. While critics are divided, the lyrcis on one song have already raised the ire of Taylor Swift and her family. "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why? I made that bitch famous," he sings," on 'Famous'. According to Swift, she never gave permission to use that line, but West says otherwise.

2. Four musicians and their manager were involved in a fatal car crash
All four members of the British indie band Viola Beach and their manager died near Stockholm, Sweden after their car hit a road barrier and plunged off a bridge into a canal below. The men were aged between 19 and 35.

3. The NSW Government is being urged to introduce pill testing
The suggestion is based on a study of NSW emergency room data, which shows that the number of ecstasy-related admissions has nearly doubled between the years 2010 and 2015. Last year, there were six ecstasy-related deaths alone. Campaigners are pressuring the Government to consider allowing drug users a way to test their pills before using them.

4.  A fire in Mumbai has broked out at a cultural event
The fire erupted on a stage as dancers were performing on stage for a "Make in India" week and after 14 fire engines were called it was under control. There have been no reports of any casualties.
