15-year-old Trinity Gay, the daughter of Tyson Gay, has been fatally killed during a shooting in Lexington, Kentucky. According to police authorities, the shooting occurred around 4am in a carpark of a nearby restaurant, where a group of men in two cars opened fire with each other. Trinity Gay was reportedly shot in the neck during the gunfire exchange.
USA Track & Field official tweeted their condolences: "Sending our thoughts & prayers to (at) TysonLGay & his loved ones as they mourn the tragic & senseless loss of his daughter, Trinity." Tyson Gay has represented the US in the last three summer Olympics, and is the second fastest man to run 100-metre spring in history.
