The world's largest city is also home to some of the most breathtaking displays of nature - sakura season is in full swing and Japan's 140-year-old Great Miracle tree is blossoming

Largely known for the spectacular ice cream-pink clouds of cherry blossoms that blossom through Japan's city's through Spring, a sanctuary of flora just outside of Tokyo has burst into waves of wisteria flowers to stunning result.

The Ashikaga Flower Park, located two hours from the capital, features 23 acres of more than 350 wisterias, including a 140-year-old 'Great Miracle Wisteria' tree which could double as something the Na'vi would live under in Avatar.

Currently at their peak from mid-April to mid-May, the imagery coming from the park at present are nothing short of magic.

With Dior's Haute Couture SS17 show reboot and a new boutique opening in Ginza last week (see their latest behind-the-scenes featurette on the making of the Japan collection bags below), Louis Vuitton revealing it's Cruise show location just outside Tokyo and the Olympic games in the city in 2020, it seems all eyes and minds are on the Land of the Rising Sun.
