These Aussie celebrities are throwing their support behind marriage equality ahead of the postal plebiscite

Come September 12, those enrolled to vote will begin receiving marriage equality ballot papers (for the 411 on the postal plebiscite, click here).

The vote is non-compulsory; however previous non-mandatory ballots such as Brexit and the US election have taught us that the results may not be representative. We live in a democratic country, exercise your rights, and let your voice be heard: VOTE!

Some of Australia's hottest A-listers are not shy about having their voice heard, posting to Instagram and speaking openly about their support for marriage equality. Click through the gallery above to see which Aussie celebrities have joined the movement towards marriage equality.

If you are not enrolled to vote, or have changed your address since the last electoral sausage sizzle you have eight days to confirm through the Australian Electoral Commission
