Racing car enthusiasts will no doubt have March 17-20 already marked in their calendar. The official launch of the 2016 Formula 1 racing season in Melbourne is to revheads what Fashion Week is to style addicts... in a word? Thrilling. And this year sees the launch of another sweet partnership - McLaren Honda Formula 1 and Chandon. Considering that racing cars is all about winning and Chandon is all about celebrating - we're calling this a match perfectly made for post-win champagne spraying.
To mark the new relationship, Chandon will be creating a special challenge between two of their star teammates - Brit racing legend Jenson Button and Spanish racing star Fernando Alonso. "We can't wait to inject some extra spark into the Australian Grand Prix festivities. It's our first race for the season and we are looking to Australia to set the standard high for other moments," says Ashley Powell, Marketing & Business Development Director of Chandon.
The challenges will be filmed against the picturesque backdrop of Domaine Chandon Winery and it's just the first in a series of exciting events to celebrate the Australian Grand Prix. Stay tuned and watch this space for more updates.
