Everything you need to know about Kim Kardashian’s robbery

1. According to a statement by Kim’s spokesperson: “Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers. She is badly shaken but physically unharmed.”

2. The incident happened at around 2.30am at her private residence Hôtel de Pourtalès . Two men dressed up as policeman but wearing balaclavas and gloves tied up the receptionist’s hands after finding out which room Kim was staying. “They went up the stairs and entered her room. They tied up her hands and put a gag in her mouth,” says Laurent Riquart, a spokesman for the investigative unit of the Paris police.

3. After locking Kim in the bathroom and putting her in a bathtub, they stole an estimated 10 million Euros worth of jewellery, including a ring worth 4 million Euros. They also took two mobile phones and a wallet containing credit cards. According to sources, the family bodyguard was out with Kourtney and Kendall at a club in Paris at the time of the attack.

4. The two men escaped and were joined by three other men. Three men left on foot and two left on bikes. Saint and North were said to be not present. Kendall, in Paris for Fashion Week, later went to comfort her sister after the incident.

5. On Monday, Kim left Paris on a private jet headed for New York.

6. Kendall boarded another private jet bound for New York a few hours later.

7. After abruptly running off stage during his concert on Sunday night, Kanye joins Kim in New York.

8. They are joined by Kris Jenner and her boyfriend Corey.

9. And 10 cars with 20 bodyguards.

10. The media circus camped outside Kim and Kanye’s New York apartment

11. New reports from Paris police reveal that a terrified Kim begged for her life during the robbery. The fact that she was alone, unguarded, at the time has led many to suspect it was an inside job and someone from her security team tipped off the men.

12. According to TMZ, one of Kim’s friends was asleep in the apartment at the time of the robbery. Apparently she locked herself in the bathroom and called the family bodyguard Pascal (pictured left). He arrived two minutes after the men had left.

13. A source says Kim was hysterical on the phone to Kanye after the attack. “He said she was really upset and it took him a few seconds to understand what she was saying to him. He wanted to get to her as soon as he could. He told her that he couldn’t care less about the jewellery; he’s just thankful that she’s okay.”

14. According to The Sun, Paris police have seized CCTV footage showing the faces of the gang moments after the robbery. The CCTV camera was at a nearby nail salon and reportedly captured the men during their getaway.
