Bootylicious building: the Melbourne skyscraper inspired by Beyoncé
Can you handle this?
Melbourne residents will soon be living in the shadow of Beyoncé's booty - immortalised in 78 storeys of concrete, metal and steel. Take one look at the design and its influence is clear: the towering structure is all undulating curves in high-shimmer, bootylicious glory. "For those more on the art than science side," says Elenberg Fraser on their website, "we will reveal that the form does pay homage to something more aesthetic - we're going to trust you've seen the music video for Beyoncé's Ghost."

The building, to be built near Melbourne's Southern Cross train station, will be home to residential apartments, retail and a hotel. But what we want to know is this: will Beyoncé be there to cut the ribbon at the building's eventual opening? We can only hope.
