With sell-out exhibitions and shows in 2013 and 2014, Emma Gale has become one of the most celebrated and collectable modern Australian artists

So her newest artworks are something to get excited about. In collaboration with Paterson + Steele, Emma Gale is releasing 20 limited edition prints of her Frida Kahlo-inspired Gypsy Boho.

Taking traditional motifs from various cultures as her starting point, each artwork is crafted with pages cut from fashion magazines, overlayed with pencil, crayon, pastels and watercolours.

"I am inspired by colour and pattern; by adornment; by beautiful things. I am always drawn to striking patterns and the combination of colours together," Emma says.

If you want one for your walls, better get in quick. "We expect them to get snapped up very quickly," says Nicole Steele, owner and curator at Paterson + Steele.  "Emma's pieces are so sought-after and these prints will give many collectors who have missed out on an original the opportunity to own one of her fabulous pieces."
