Americans. They're a paranoid bunch, aren't they? With terrorists attacks happening on nearly every continent and major political uproars like the Trump presidency making world affairs one big jumbled mess, we're starting to see people (ok, mainly Yanks) preparing for an impending nuclear holocaust and/or World War III. According to Clyde Scott, an American bomb shelter specialist, whose company Rising S Bunkers builds shelters for the very wealthy and very paranoid, prepping for nuclear warfare is a thing.

In an enlightening interview with Dazed online, the Texan revealed that orders of his specialist bomb shelters (which start at $45,000 a pop for the low-end model) have risen 40% since Trump's inauguration - we're just that positive about his POTUS efforts. And strangely, despite all walks of life requesting their own specialist shelter, it seems that Kanye and Trump have one thing in common - they both have bomb shelters. (We wonder if it was part of their discussion back in December?)

Apocalypse now: why Kim and Kanye take security VERY seriously

In the Dazed interview, Scott goes into detail about "preppers" (civilians who prep for war) and what features one might expect from a bunker costing upwards of $50k - think:  water filtration, air filtration, blast valves, sinks, showers, toilets, a camera system, a solar energy generator and in some cases, a pool. "I know Trump has several bomb shelters. I didn't make any of them but I might be doing some add-ons for his one up in Colorado," Scott tells Dazed. He also let it slip that Kim and Kanye have one too.

"Did you hear about Kim and Kanye getting one built? Yeah, that's one of ours. I'm sure Kim's will have a pool too. But look, my clientele goes up way higher than her." Good to know the world's most famous coupling doesn't have the absolute best of everything. Even so, we're finding it really hard to imagine Kim swimming laps in the midst of a nuclear holocaust.
