Back in the Gold Coast yesterday to stand trial for the illegal importation of their Yorkshire terriers, Amber Heard and Johnny Depp are again making Australian headlines. Heard has been given a one-month good behaviour bond with no conviction, but all anyone's talking about is the apology video she has released with Depp. The star couple worked with the Department of Agriculture to film the apology, which, reading between the lines, we get the feeling they weren't overly excited about.

Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce, who made international headlines over the stoush with Depp and Heard, isn't fooled either. "I don't think he'll get an Academy Award for his performance... he looked like he was auditioning for the Godfather," he told the ABC this morning.
