The Buro 24/7 culture guide: April

Seeking for the best things to do, see, hear and dive into this month? Look no further, Buro culturemaker Noelle Faulkner has one for every day in April

April is a funny month for social events - it rides that no-mans-land of weather made for binge-watching a series such as Game of Thrones (*cough* April 25) and the guilt of I-don't-want-to-let-go-of-my-doin'-stuff-habits created earlier in the year. While it's way too easy to be a hermit, it's also too early in the year - daylight savings is only just ending. The trick is balance.

Thankfully, this month oddly sees a huge variety of outdoor and under-the-cover options, there's quite a few cool things for cinephiles, though no real majorly anticipated new films being dropped. There's the fantastic Spanish Film Festival, which is touring nationally, Young At Heart, a film fest you can take your Nan to and some not-to-be-missed cult classics appearing on screens around the country.

On top of that, I've also selected a newly relocated joint where you can go to smash up some crockery in the name of de-stressing, fitness classes with a priceless view, an event where you can have a drink with Ken Done and another which celebrates Argentina's favourite grape. April, you're ok.
