Whether you're into running marathons or more of a casual pavement pounder, beyond-iconic sportswear label Nike has been at the forefront of running and fitness communities from the get go. While the Nike+ Run Club and Nike+ Training Club apps are probably familiar to your average smartphone-owning exercise junkie, Nike are set to expand their fitness club services even further for spring. To coincide with the relaunch of Nike+ Run Club, Nike is set to open a Nike Women's Studio in the inner-city Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy.

Launching in October, the studio will be offering free high intensity Nike+ Training Club sessions and personalised coaching from their trusted health and fitness experts. The services are designed to complement Nike's updated Nike+ Run Club program, which offers running sessions and training advice for every level of runner imaginable. Featuring six different sessions that range from teaching basic technique (Ready Set Go) to high-intensity running (H.I.T. and Run) - the program adheres to the basic ethos behind the inclusive Nike+ Run Club: "if you run you are a runner," says NRC Coach Mathieu Dore.
The new warehouse space housing Nike Women's Studio will also be hosting workouts seven times a week - and with H.I.T, Pilates, dance and TRX on offer, plus massage, physio and nutritional consultations on hand, it's shaping up to be a one-stop fitness centre.
The Nike Women's Studio is located on the corner of Smith and Kerr Streets, Fitzroy and will be running fitness session from Tuesday, October 13. For more info and to register for NRC and NTC sessions, head to nike.com.
