Their new martini menu - we're talking eight pages here  - has everything you need to create your own custom tipple, right down to a choice of seven vermouths (will you go Lillet Blanc from Bordeaux or Martini Dry from Turin?) and garnishes (grapefruit peel or Gibson?).

Studying the menu, we'd say it works equally well for a diehard enthusiast or martini virgin - first you pick your spirit from the 14 gins and seven vodkas on offer, then there's the vermouths to choose from, garnishes including lemon, orange or grapefruit twists, cucumber, olives or the aforementioned Gibson (a spiced pickled onion) and lastly, style - dry, extra dry, wet, dirty, with Absinthe rinse or a dash of grapefruit or orange bitters, if you please.

If you'd rather leave your drink in the hands of professionals, there's five martinis on the new menu to choose from - we like the sound of the Dry Rogue Society Premium Gin martini with lemon wedge and La Quintinye Blanc Vermouth, or the Wet Tito's Handmade Vodka martini with olives and Lillet Blanc. Is it still too early for Friday night drinks?
