Woollahra just landed a fresh new Japanese diner
Iron chef
Leafy eastern suburb Woollahra has a slew of top notch eateries in their 2025 postcode - from ladies-who-lunch favourite Chiswick to upscale French fare at Bistro Moncur to the casual courtyard nosh at Luxe - it's a real foodie destination. Which, until now, was sorely lacking in the oriental offering arena (there was a blink-and-you'll-miss-it sushi train, which was too short lived to count). Enter Kenny Rens.
Kenny Rens is a tiny pocket-rocket sized Japanese izakaya-style diner just opened at 146 Queen St. Offering a sit-down bar at the front and tables down the back, it's just the ticket for a quick sake and sushi fix or longer work-your-way through their robata grilled nosh kinda meal.
Tipped to offer an extensive cocktail list alongside the super fresh Oriental fare - your dinner plans are sorted.
Kenny Rens is located at 146 Queen St, Woollahra. For more information: facebook.com/pg/kennyrensydney/
