Australian Open of Surfing is teaming up with the Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel to create an epic pop-up right on the sands of Manly Beach. The aim is to bring Sydney's beloved beach club right to the heart of Manly, but in the midst of the exciting national surfing compeititon. The bar will be fit with lounge chairs, a balcony, and even the trademark blue-and-white striped umbrellas; making it the hottest spot on the sand to sit back, relax and watch the surfers compete.
The free entry event wouldn't be complete without a bunch of mouth-watering seafood-inspired eats; like Hawaiian poke, fish tacos, chicken skewers and of course, fish & chips. There will also be a selection of your favourite beers, coconut cocktails and more delicious Watsons Bay drinks to choose from.
The Beach Club will run for nine action packed days loaded with a bunch of activities and live entertainment like free yoga, oyster hour ($1 oysters!), live DJ's and acoustic performances.
The Australian Open for Surfing x Watsons Bay Beach Club kicks off on February 25 - March 5, 2017.
