The ladies lunch is a bonding experience that has stood the test of time, requiring four crucial factors: 1. good company, 2. flowing champagne, 3. a delicious grazing menu, and 4. a truly Instagramable setting (because if you didn't 'Gram it, did it really happen?). While we can't help you with number one (you'll have to do your own work there), we have found a place that ticks all three of the other boxes. Call the girls and head down to The Gantry Garden, a new alfresco dining experience that has just opened at Pier One's Gantry restaurant.

The Ganty Garden is created in partnership with champagne house Perrier-Jouët, meaning bubbles is it's middle name. The seasonal grazing menu has been curated by Head Chef Thomas Gorringe to compliment a champagne focused offering. Guests can opt for a lunch with free-flowing Perrier-Jouët available from $99 per person to pair alongside share plates such as fresh oysters with finger lime & mignonette; and Skull Island prawns with Chimichurri, avocado and tortilla. If you're after a heartier option, try the mushroom risotta with crème fraiche, reggiano and garden herbs, grown in the venue's new herb garden, which flows out of a rustic wooden rowboat (how Pinterest!).

The outdoor space of The Gantry has been transformed into a botanical garden oasis, with cascading greenery and overhanging foliage, as well as the option to dine from cabanas and hanging chairs. All of this, plus enviable harbour views? Book us in!

Open for lunch Wednesday - Sunday  from 12.00pm - 2.30pm. Outside of these hours, the regular Gantry menu is available. The Gantry at Pier One Sydney Harbour, 11 Hickson Road Walsh Bay, Sydney, NSW, 2000. For more information visit:
