On the other side of the spectrum, sometimes we get a little sick of our tuna salad/avo on toast/vegetable soup workday rotation. Enter: Kensington Street Social's new Express Lunch offering, which sits happily somewhere between the two.

From Monday to Wednesday between 12pm to 2:30pm, Kensington Street's Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton (he's kind of a big deal in London, you guys) will offer two-course lunch aimed to save you time and money without sacrificing splurge-factor. For $40 a pop, you'll get a choice from three entrees, one of the restaurant's sourdough flatbreads and a glass of vino matched to your meal by sommelier Lindsay Carr.

Entrees currently include the Social 'dog' of pork and fennel sausage, green apple, black pudding and cheddar; a green bean salad of radicchio, pickled daikon, sesame and sweet soy dressing and Tataki Hiramasa kingfish with dill, kale and togarashi. The flatbreads include wagyu bresaola with white onion, pumpkin and rocket; roast mushroom with taleggio, salmoriglio and parmesan; and pulled lamb with basil pesto, baby zucchini, Jersey milk ricotta and manchego.
