The Sunday session used to be all about a low-volume carb-load couch fest to resuscitate and revive after a major Saturday night out, but that's no longer the case. With venues offering, dare we say it, more fun than Saturday eve options via chill music, delicious sips and mouth-watering nosh, Sunday is the new Saturday.
As for where to spend your next Sunday? The Old Clare is the name to know. Start with a pitch perfect brunch or lunch at Kensington Street Social (think: hot smoked salmon on sourdough flatbread, breakfast rice stacked with all the good adds, marinated blueberries with warm chocolate mousse) washed down with summer-in-a-glass, frosé or endless glasses of sparkling at $35 per head. After the appetite is sorted, head into The Clare Bar where from 4pm, live music will be coming at you, providing the perfect soundtrack to see out the weekend.
#SocialSunday at The Old Clare Hotel kicks off from Sunday November 13, for more information head to Theoldclarehotel.com.au
