A delicious meal and a cool beverage served with a side of sunshine, killer view and a breath of fresh air is one of the best things in life and Mosman's newest rooftop diner, The Fernery, checks all those items off the wish list.

Located on the rooftop above Mosman's Returned Serviceman's Club, the just opened Fernery not only boasts killer Sydney city views but also a knockout green factor with lush abundant greenery (think: succulents, shrubs, vines and cacti) scattered throughout the recently renovated space.

Interiors aside the menu is a foodies delight created by head chefs Gavin Gray and Mitchell Davis featuring a produce-driven menu incorporating fresh herbs from the onsite rooftop kitchen garden. Must-eats include: wood-fired free-range roast chicken with quinoa tabouli, harissa yoghurt and lemon; kingfish ceviche with papaya, coriander and coconut chilli lime dressing;  rosé watermelon salad.

Make sure to save space for the ricotta doughnuts with caramelised banana and vanilla gelato.
