The Italian providore has joined forces with Harris Farm to open in Westfield Bondi Junction

For too long have Sydney's Eastern suburbs lived without the truffle pecorino and wood-fired pizza Salt Meats Cheese has become a foodie mecca for, but on August 25, that's all set to change. With stores/eateries in Alexandria, Drummoyne, Mosman and Surfer's Paradise already, Salt Meats Cheese is finally opening East-side.

The Bondi Junction flagship will take over the former Norton Street Grocer site at Westfield Bondi Junction, and will feature a 10-metre long delicatessen filled, we're assured, with Italy's finest cheeses and antipasti, plus a meat-room with over 100 legs of prosciutto, Jamon, Serrano, Bellota, salami and handmade sausages AND a cheese cabinet dedicated entirely to Truffle Pecorino.

The 90-seat eatery, designed in the style of a Spanish Galeria del Jamon, will serve tapas day and night, plus wood-fired pizza (available by the slice), handmade pastas, sandwiches and salads. Doing the groceries just got way more enticing.
