Pasta lovers, rejoice. We've found the perfect excuse to eat pasta dishes in a row for dinner (aka foodie heaven). Your tastebuds can thank us later.

Sometimes, the hardest thing going out for a nice meal is leaving your gluttony at the door and settling on just one meal. Well, thanks to the kind folk at Sotto Sopra and Flour, Eggs and Water, now you don't have to.

The chefs behind these iconic Sydney Italian restaurants - Alessandro Pavoni and Eugenio Maiale - have joined forced to create the 'Pasta Masters Collaborative Dinner'.

Here, a five-course degustation equates to: pasta, pasta, pasta, pasta and more pasta, so you can sample the entire oeuvre from this legendary culinary duo without bleeding your wallet dry.

Held across two evenings at each of the chef's restaurants, Alessandro and Eugenio will speak about the culinary influences from their respective regions in Italy.

Dinners will be held at Sotto Sopra on July 19 and Flour Eggs Water on August 23, with tickets costing $75 per person - or $125 with matched wines.
