As one of the top chefs in Australia any project Matt Moran is involved with is hugely anticipated and none more so than his entry into Sydney's hottest new eating and drinking destination, Barangaroo.

In a press statement Moran and hospitality group Solotel announced their newest contemporary dining venue, Barangaroo House, will be opening this coming December. And it's set to be foodie game changer, a notable achievement in a city seriously stacked in the dining department.

Barangaroo House will be located in designer waterfront digs with three entire levels dedicated to the fine art of sipping and supping Moran-style. On the ground floor you'll find a bar and casual eatery, go up a floor for the contemporary restaurant or head skyward for the rooftop terrace bar (which just happens to come with killer Sydney views).

The project has been three years in the making with Moran going global in his search for the perfect chef to run this epic eating emporium and eventually landing on Cory Campbell (ex-Noma in Copenhagen and ex-Vue de Monde in Melbourne) to don the head chef hat.

Moran and Campbell will run the kitchens in Barangaroo House together and while no menu has yet been made available, we're putting our money on mouth-watering Australian contemporary flavours.

Barangaroo House is located at 35 Barangaroo Avenue, Sydney and will open in December this year. www.barangaroohouse.com.au
