Fans of Melbourne's Turkish restaurant Tulum will be delighted with the news that new mod Turkish, Yagiz is from chef Murat Ovaz, who helmed the kitchen over at Tulum. And he's bringing the same mouth-watering flavours and mod-Turkish cooking style that has made Tulum so popular to his new venture in chichi South Yarra.

"Expect to experience all the flavours of Turkey with a modern, unique twist," Ovaz said in a statement. And with dishes like calamari with Ezine cheese and ink, lamb loin with couscous, whole roast Bultarra Saltbush lamb and sweet Turkish delights on the menu Ovaz speaks the truth.

Diners can leave the hard choices to the chef by going for the set menu or choose their own adventure from the à la carte menu card. Fancy a glass or two with your meal? A shiny new designer fit out comes courtesy of Archier with the restaurant featuring a brass communal table, fully-loaded bar and banquette seating in the dedicated dining space.
