Templo is a hole-in-the-wall restaurant that's turning heads on the Apple Isle - and it's getting harder and harder to nab a seat. Chef Matt Breen has added an Italian accent to the simple contemporary play and as such pasta - made daily - weaves through the menu.
Menu items are simply listed on the blackboard as cured kingfish, lamb shoulder or striped trumpeter - but what arrives, as explained by your waiter, is much more. Your instructions? Ride the wave of the chef's menu and sample the best of Hobart's produce that day.
Must try dish: beef carpaccio dressed with anchovy cream.
