You could do your weekly Woollies shop after work tonight... or you could head to your nearest bar to celebrate a day that simply isn't acknowledged nearly enough: National Margarita Day. Yep - turns out February 22 is dedicated to the cocktail we love to hate (only the next morning, that is), and we have the ultimate recipe to help you celebrate in style.
Because the best cocktails are uncomplicated beasts, this one only has four ingredients (five if you include the garnish). As with any cocktail, a high-quality spirit is your best friend here - this recipe calls for Patrón Silver, a small-batch premium tequila made from 100 per cent Weber blue agave, mixed with Patrón Citronge, a premium reserve orange liqueur made in Mexico.
Happy mixing - and happy Monday.
